Singles

The Singles Ministry serves as a vital point of entry into the Body of Christ. This ministry is designed to enable single people of all ages and stages (never married, divorced, widowed) to experience the love of Christ, His salvation and transformation of their lives. Bible classes, mentoring and support groups equip individuals to find God's plan for their lives. Training for service is offered and opportunities to serve, both within the church and outside its walls, are provided. Wholesome, inspiring activities also contribute to the establishing of the strong sense of community, of love and support, that exists in this group.

Divorce Care

Divorce CareSunday mornings at 10:45 AM -  Room 144

Divorce Care is dvd- and workbook-driven, and is facilitated by men and women who have not only experienced divorce, but have gone through Divorce Care and been blessed by God. The series is 13 weeks long, covering a different topic each week. But we let everyone know they can jump in at any point. If you are hurting or struggling through issues related to separation or divorce, we are here for you.

Divorce Care meets at the 10:45 hour in Room 144. If you have any questions about the program, do not hesitate to contact us. 

Elvis Sighting!

The Singles class of NRHBC are goin' to an Elvis sighting!  Sign up begins September in your SMBS class with reservations for 20 people.  The show starts promptly at 6 PM.  To eat and enjoy the show arrive between 5-5:30 PM.  Meal with tax and tip should cost about $10 and the food is outstanding. “Elvis” is verrry good.  He won the National Elvis Competition and went on to the World Competition in Wales and won 4th place. You are going to laugh!

Singles Monthly Luncheon

Once a month we gather in the Fellowship Hall for a Single Adult luncheon. Members are asked to bring a dish or $5, and our guests are not expected to bring anything. Children are more than welcome, and this is a wonderful time together that always attracts a big crowd ready to join in food and fellowship.
