Birth To Pre-K

Believing that the Bible speaks to people of all ages, it is the purpose of the Preschool Ministry to make the Bible message meaningful and appropriate for children from birth to Pre-K. This program is designed to lay foundations for each child's present and future spiritual development as it relates to the total person. Our intent is to help each child develop toward the full potential of what God created them to be.

Kids of all ages can get connected to God's Word and learn how to live for Christ every day as they enjoy fun-packed, hands-on activities prepared and led by caring adult volunteers. Stop by the 1st floor CMB information desk and we will help you find the correct class for your child.

VIP

Sunday Very Important People
Birth - PreK

VIP is extended care for children birth through 4 years during our 11:00 AM Worship Service and Bible Fellowship Groups. Children are automatically transitioned from Kid Connection to VIP at 11:00 AM.

Guidelines

Before you enter the preschool hall make sure:

  1. your child is symptom free 24 hours prior from fever, vomiting and diarrhea

  2. you have a bag to drop off with a change of clothes, diapers, bottles, sippy cup, etc.

  3. you have labeled ALL items to avoid any confusion

  4. you receive a check in tag for child and parent

We will make sure we:

  1. wash children's hands frequently (this includes babies and toddlers)

  2. clean and disinfect Bye-bye Buggies and all surfaces

  3. make an isolation room available in case of illness so child will be separated from the rest of the class

  4. provide a morning snack (9:30 hour only)

  5. love on your child and teach them Biblical truths

Special Needs

Your special needs child is welcome at Cross Church NRH!

Every person has the ability to experience God in a special way. Our volunteers are ready to love your child and help maximize his or her experience at church. We work closely with parents to create an individualized program for each child based on his or her developmental ability. Shadowing: Some special needs kids just need a helping hand. Trained adult and teen buddies serve as “shadows” enabling kids to participate in typical classes and Kid Worship to his or her maximum ability.

Great Expectations

Expecting Parents:
God is carefully creating your baby for His purposes and for His glory. You and your baby are important to God and to us. The Preschool Ministry at Cross Church NRH has prepared a special place for your baby to come and hear about God’s love. We are dedicated to sharing God’s love with your baby as soon as he/she is born and for the months and years to follow. Getting to know you and your baby now so that we can pray for you, love you and encourage you is a privilege for us as we anticipate the arrival of your newborn. Family Dedication

Family Dedication is a special time set aside in a worship service for members of Cross Church NRH who are parents desiring to publicly commit to bring their child up in “the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”

You will find below the application to fill out and request a Family Dedication along with some FAQ’s that are provided for your knowledge and information. Parents should call the preschool office when they are ready to schedule their family dedication to be held during the scheduled worship service that is best for them. 817.284.9206

MOM to MOM

Mondays | 9:30-11:30 am

We are so glad you have an interest in Mom to Mom.  We meet on pre-set dates (listed below) on Mondays from 9:30 - 11:30 AM during the school year, based on the BISD calendar.

Due to economic circumstances and being good stewards of the Mom-to-Mom budget, if children other than those you are a legal guardian of attend childcare, an extra fee of $40 will be required.

Cost: $45 - Register until January 22, 2024
