This class will walk you through the basics of budgeting, eliminating debt, planning for the future and much more. FOOTSTEPS: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE OLD TESTAMENT

GOD’S JEWELS BIBLE STUDY

Teachers: Sharon Booker, Carolyn Hedgecock, and Marilyn Phillips - This class will dig into the Scriptures to discover the lives behind the jewels that God gave to the high priests and other modern and biblical figures. Be amazed at how the armor of God, 12 layers of heaven, and jewels of heaven all interconnect. GRANDPARENTING: STRENGTHENING YOUR FAMILY AND PASSING ON YOUR FAITH

Teacher: D’Ann Laywell - Have you ever wanted to laugh, cry and pray with other grandparents? This study will give you a biblical foundation for investing spiritually in your grandkids, walking you through the principles of influencing them for Christ--from sharing with unbelieving grandkids to discipling them into a mature faith. GRIEFSHARE: LOSS OF A SPOUSE

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14, 6:30-8:30 PM - ROOM 200

Loss of a Spouse is a 2-hour seminar for people grieving a spouse’s death. The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and widowed men and women. They offer helpful insights on what to expect in the days to come, how to deal with loneliness, why it won’t always hurt this much and other practical help for dealing with the challenges of widowhood. Everyone who attends will receive a booklet with over 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life. COST: FREE

Teacher: Mary Ann Wells - If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurts’ you feel. LET.IT.GO.: HOW TO STOP RUNNING THE SHOW AND START WALKING THE FAITH WOMEN WEDNESDAY EVENINGS, 6:30-8PM - 6 WEEKS - ROOM 109

Teachers: Cheryl Graves and Sharon Wortham - In this six-session women’s small group Bible study, Karen Ehman provides practical, biblically based steps for letting go of the need to control. Let’s face it: many women are wired to control. We make sure that the house is clean, the meals are prepared on time, the beds are made, the children are dressed, and everyone gets to work, school, and other activities on time.
